SAFEWAY & corporate giving with Sara Osborne

Topic:  We will discuss the many ways that Safeway supports the nonprofit sector in the areas of philanthropy, sponsorship, cause-related marketing, employee volunteerism and workplace giving.    In 2018, Safeway donated $4.66 million in cash to Washington based nonprofits ranking #8 on the PSBJ Corporate Citizenship list. Join us and learn how the company chooses its partners focusing on the attributes it values.  Lunch: Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch. There is a cafeteria just across the hall from the B-suites.There are also many choices in South Lake Union – Specialty’s is approximately 1/2 mile away and there are several other options nearby. Duke’s Chowder House is across the street. We have another cafeteria on campus located in the Arnold building, just a short walk from Weintraub. Directions: When you arrive, the easiest way to access this building is to enter through the main entrance of the Thomas building just off Campus Drive, and walk to the very back (these buildings are connected). The room will be just across the hall from the cafeteria on your right. There is a receptionist at the entrance who will be able to help point you in the right direction. Parking: Visitor parking lots are noted with a “P” on the campus map. There is also a public pay parking lot off of Aloha Street, as well as plenty of street parking in the area. Sponsor: A very special thank you to our sponsor Greater Giving for making this educational session possible.
