      SCMS ’20 WINTER FESTIVAL – Ehnes Quartet plays Beethoven String Quartets, nos. 1, 11, 13

      Friday, January 17, 2020– 7:30pm

      There is a free 30-minute recital at 6:30pm featuring Beethoven Piano Sonatas No. 24 in F-sharp Major, Op. 78 “À Thérèse” and No. 26 in E-flat Major, Op. 81a “Les Adieux” performed by Seattle pianist Henry From.

      The ticketed main concert at 7:30pm features Beethoven String Quartet in F Major, Op. 18 No. 1, Beethoven String Quartet in F minor, Op. 95 “Serioso”, and Beethoven String Quartet in B-flat Major, Op. 130 performed by the Ehnes Quartet (James Ehnes, Amy Schwartz Moretti, Richard O’Neill, and Edward Arron).
